PICK PUMPKINS at Thursford. What Halloween would be without these classic globular beauts? Don’t forget to use the flesh for soup or suchlike. 10th-11th, 17th-18th, 23th-31st October 10am to 4pm.
MAKE MAGIC POTIONS at Yalm. Creative Planet are running hands-on session inspired by potion-making and wizarding worlds. Wednesday 28th October.
HOCUS POCUS IN THE WOODS at High Lodge. All sorts of seasonal fun under the trees. Friday 30th October 10am-4pm. Free enrty and no booking required. Parking charges apply.
RIDE THE GHOST TRAIN when the Mid Norfolk Railway Halloween Express takes a ghostly steam train ride through Norfolk. 31st October.
SERIOUS SCARES BESIDE THE SEA. Fairground Frights at Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach 24 – 25th, 27th – 31st October.
ENJOY A SCARY MOVIE at Whitlingham. This Halloween, Outdoor Cinema is showing The Lost Boys (Cert 15). 26 Oct 2026, 19:10 – 21:50. It’s one of our favourites so, naturally, we’re going.
READ A SCARY BOOK. Norwich Book Festival falls over half term. Expect lots of literary events (not all scary!).
EXPLORE NORWICH’S DARK CORNERS. Norwich Ghost Walks will be delivering Halloween Specials each night from October 23rd to 31st (excluding Sunday 25th).
GET YOUR FREAK ON. One for the grown-ups, The Bloghaus Haus Band return to Norwich Arts Centre for a blistering set indie hits and electro bangers. Costumes encouraged! Saturday 31st October.
