School’s out and the Summer Holidays are here. It’s a great opportunity to bank some quality family time and discover, support and enjoy Norfolk. If you need ideas, here are 10 of our top picks across the county – for all ages, and pockets.

🐛 Pokémon TCG Mega Evolution Trail at Blickling Estate – Unleash your energy on a Pokémon adventure this summer, celebrating the Pokémon TCG Mega Evolution series, until 2nd September 2026. Standard admission applies, free for National Trust members and children under 5.

🏰 Kids Kingdom is coming to Castle Quarter from 20th to 31st July, 10am to 4pm. A FREE, fun-filled role play experience designed to let children’s imaginations run wild. Be a hairdresser, a doctor, a supermarket worker, a café owner and so much more. No booking required, just turn up and play! Plus, on Thursday 30th July 10am to 1pm the Miniature Donkeys are back and throughout August, you can visit the Castle Quarter indoor Beach Zone and enjoy a taste of the seaside right in the heart of Norwich. Build sandcastles, relax in deckchairs, snap memorable photos and take part in exciting activities designed for the whole family.

🔍 The Great Cornspiracy. Can you solve this summer’s a-maize-ing mystery at Pensthorpe and discover who ate The legendary Golden Corn Cob?  A giant maize maze adventure for the whole family. Runs through to October 2026. Entry fee applies.

🎭 Go behind the scenes at Norwich Theatre Royal – Open Day Sunday 26th July 10am to 3pm – FREE (book for access tours and tech talks).

🎨 Get creative – Summer Workshops + Fun at Yalm in Norwich – various sessions (Cookie Creations, Seaside Special / Magic Potions Craft Workshop, Little Lanterns Workshop & meet Children’s Author Mitch Johnson – 23rd July to 26th August 2026. Booking and ticket price applies.

🪓 A Viking Summer at The Lynn Museum in Kings Lynn until 20th August 2026. Viking Shield Trail runs until Sunday 2nd August and is included with all ticket types. Specific Viking events need to be booked and there is a small charge.

🐎 Go All In at Gressenhall! Summer Holiday activities from the National Year of Reading to the Summer of Sport at Gressenhall Farm & Workhouse. Until 2nd September 2026, 10am to 5pm. Included in General Admission.

⚔️ Falcons, Knights and Medieval Fun! Norwich Castle’s Summer at the Court of King Henry I, until 2nd September 2026 10am to 5pm. General Admission applies.

⛱️ Back to the beach for Cromer Carnival 15th to 21st August 2026. Lots of FREE activities.
