The days may still be a little cold, but Spring is definitely in the air. With this week being Half Term for many (hooray), it’s a great opportunity to get out and enjoy Norfolk. Here are 5 ideas for February things to do in Norfolk…

1. Love Light Norwich

This Norwich celebration of art, light and colour is back this week (17 – 19th February) with plenty of free events and ways to get involved, including trails, a parade and artworks to enjoy. This year’s theme is love and belonging.

2. Norfolk & Good Podcast

Have you discovered our Norfolk & Good podcast yet? It’s a regular dose of relaxed discussion about all sorts of Norfolk things, from food and drink to places to visit, featuring regular guests from Norfolk businesses and organisations.

If you live in Norfolk (lucky!), we hope it’s a great source of ideas and inspiration.

If you don’t live in Norfolk, it’s a good way to connect with the county and maybe get some ideas for a future visit.

In our latest episode (available now), we discuss ‘Fine Dining’ with Eric Snaith, Chef-Owner of Titchwell Manor Hotel (whose Restaurant has 3 AA Rosettes), Eric’s Fish & Chips and Eric’s Pizza.

4. Get Puzzling

Apparently doing a jigsaw puzzle (‘Puzzling’) can help us be more mindful, along with lots of other wellbeing benefits. We think it’s a great ‘inside activity’ on a cold, wet afternoon.

We’ve launched a new LIMITED EDITION ‘Love Norfolk’ 1,000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle just for February, the ‘month of love’.

One for all you puzzle-loving, Norfolk loving folks, this 510 x 700mm, plastic-free jigsaw features twenty images of Norfolk (some of the most popular images from our Enjoying Norfolk Instagram feed). How many places do you recognise?

Available for £30 until the end of February. Get yours now and get puzzling!

5. Hunt For Spring Flowers

You might have already noticed those pretty little promises of Spring poking up from the ground all over the place? We’ve spotted crocuses, snowdrops, aconites…

This week, we’ll be getting out and about in Norfolk seeing where we can find more of this early Spring colour. We’d love to hear where you’ve spotted them – send us your suggestions by contacting us on social media or sending a message through our website.
