‘Festival Season’ is in full swing Norfolk and whatever floats your proverbial boat, if you’re looking for festivals in Norfolk, you’re bound to find something that will appeal.

Cromer Carnival 2026 15th – 21st August 2026
Always a great time to be in Cromer and The Red Arrows make a visit too. Carnival Day will be held on Wednesday 19th August.
ROCK N ROLL CIRCUS 21st – 23rd August 2026
See this amazing spectacle at Earlham Park in Norwich. For 2026, the headliners are The Streets, The Kooks and Madness.
Dubs at the Lakes 21st – 23rd August 2026
A family Vdub festival, with live music across the weekend, and much more.
Set in the Stunning grounds of Fendicks Fishery and Camping site with over 32 acres. There are obviously fishing lakes, a licenced bar, lots of trade stalls and some wonderful food stalls too.
Frontline Festival 22nd August 2026
The second Frontline Festival will be coming to The Walks, King’s Lynn. The whole thing is completely free to attend, so you and your family can just turn up on the day without the need for a ticket. If emergency vehicles and equipment, cadet demos and parade, police dog demonstrations, fitness challenges, food stalls or live music sound like your idea of a good day out then you’re going to want to be in Kings Lynn that day.
The North Norfolk Food and Drink Festival 5th – 6th September 2026
This wonderful festival takes place in the spectacular setting of the Walled Garden at Holkham Hall. Featuring over 60 local food and drink producers who grow, rear, produce, supply and sell food in North Norfolk. The festival provides the opportunity to meet these producers, sample their wares and buy their produce for taking home.
Brancaster Staithe Sea Shanty Festival 11th – 13th September 2026
Ending the Summer season, the Brancaster Staithe Shanty Festival takes place across Brancaster Staithe on the North Norfolk Coast, encompassing The White Horse and the The Jolly Sailors (which both have Enjoying Norfolk Card offers), Deepdale Camping & Rooms Barn, St Mary’s Church (Burnham Deepdale) and Brancaster Staithe Village Hall.
Expect good eating, good drinking and a fantastic atmosphere, against a backdrop of Sea Shanty groups from across the UK.
VegStock Festival Norfolk 11th – 13th September 2026
VegStock is a family-friendly weekend festival held at Tilia Market Garden in Norfolk. Enjoy live music, DJs, local food, yoga, creative workshops, a wood-fired sauna & plunge pool, children’s activities, and camping in the orchard.
What began as a small gathering of friends has grown into a welcoming community festival celebrating music, nature, good food, and connection. Choose from a single day ticket or make a weekend of it with camping.
Heritage Open Days 11th – 20th September 2026
Heritage Open Days (HODs) is England’s largest festival of history and culture – and it’s FREE for everyone to take part!
The 2025 festival had an incredible 397 events across Norfolk. Once again, Norwich had the largest programme of any city in the country, and was a close second to West Yorkshire for the biggest programme in England. It’s one of our personal faves.
Most events don’t require booking, but keep an eye out for the ones that do – when booking opens some events ‘sell out’ in minutes!
Deepdale Festival 24th – 27th September 2026
Deepdale Camping & Rooms hosts a small, but perfectly formed Music Festival with a Heart of Folk across 3 stages on the last weekend of September. The Brick Barn, Orchard Stage & Courtyard will host more than 40 superb acts.
The Norfolk Biodiversity & Regenerative Food Festival 18th October 2026
Hosted by Regenerative Foods, the Norfolk Biodiversity & Regenerative Food Festival returns this October. Head to Chapelfield Gardens for a festival that brings together and celebrates the growers, producers and organisations that contribute to a regenerative local food system and a wilder, more nature-filled region.
You’ll find a collection of regenerative and organic growers, street food vendors, bakers, makers, crafters, charities, community groups, demos, workshops and more!
Norwich Book Festival 24th – 30th October 2026
Seven days of fantastic events. This city-wide festival brings together readers, writers, bookshops, literary organisations, and other key Norwich institutions. Based from The Forum in Norwich, expect a host of activities that celebrate creativity, stories, writing, storytelling or books.
