Chefs from TV’s most popular cooking shows, local Michelin starred, and award-winning restaurants, will showcase their best dishes live on stage. These will include: 3 AA Rosette awarded Great British Menu winner, Richard Bainbridge, from Benedicts in Norwich. Multi-award-winning chef patron and star of Great British Menu, Daniel Smith, from The Ingham Swan in Norfolk and MasterChef: The Professionals 2021 finalist, Aaron Middleton.
Chart-topping kitchen disco diva, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, will not only bring some glamour and huge hits to the music stage, but will also be cooking live in the Chefs Theatre with her husband, Richard Jones (of The Feeling). The couple will showcase a recipe from their new cook book ‘Love. Food. Family’.

Richard Bainbridge, said: “I am super excited that Foodies Festival is coming to Norwich, having previously been involved in their events in London and Bristol. To be participating in such an awesome, family friendly event on my home turf is extremely exciting. It is more important than ever to support our independent food and drink producers, and champion seasonal and local ingredients which I love to showcase, be it in the restaurant or at amazing events like Foodies Festival!”
Daniel Smith, said: “Here in Norfolk we love to get involved in all things food related; food and drink is a passion for the county and this fantastic foodie event taking place here is a real coup for Norwich. I’m really pleased to be joining a leading line up of chefs for the Chefs Theatre, it’s always great to get out from behind my restaurant stoves and meet customers in such a fun setting. I will be showcasing some of my techniques to hopefully inspire home cooks and I will be chatting about why I cook the food I do”
Also cooking live in the Chefs Theatre will be: Eric Snaith, chef patron from 3 AA Rosette awarded Titchwell Manor, near Brancaster, Andrew Jones, chef patron of 3 AA Rosette awarded Farmyard Restaurant in Norwich and MasterChef finalist, Tony Rodd.
Andrew Jones said: “Farmyard are thrilled to be involved with Foodies Festival – all the best things under one roof! I’m honoured to have been approached to join the Chefs Theatre and rub shoulders with so many impressive chefs. Better dust off the old cook books!”

In the Cake and Bake Theatre, an impressive line-up of expert star bakers and personalities will create delicious show-stopping masterpieces and share their best tips and tricks. Hosted by the vivacious Charlotte White, visitors can expect scrumptious freshly baked offerings to try, entertaining surprise guests, and even the occasional sing-along!
Joe Wadsack, drinks expert from BBC TV’s ‘Food and Drink’ series will share his passion and advice in the Drinks Theatre, alongside many other experts presenting masterclasses and free tasting sessions.
World Chilli Eating Champion Shahina Waseem will be turning up the heat and challenging those brave enough to compete. Competitions will be broadcast live across the world to huge ‘League of Fire’ audiences.
