Somewhere That’s Green

Some of Norwich’s best-loved parks and green spaces have once again been recognised among the very best in the UK.

Six locations across the Fine City have retained their Green Flag Award for 2026, the national benchmark for beautifully managed parks and green spaces. Presented by Keep Britain Tidy, the award recognises places that are welcoming, safe, well maintained and enjoyed by their local communities.

The six award-winning Norwich parks are:

  • Eaton Park
  • Waterloo Park
  • Jenny Lind Park
  • Mousehold Heath
  • Heigham Park
  • Kett’s Heights

In even more positive news, Eaton Park, Waterloo Park and Kett’s Heights also retained their Green Heritage Site Accreditation, celebrating the outstanding care and promotion of their historic landscapes.

We’re very familiar with all these wonderful spaces, and use them frequently for walks, running (including parkrun), football, meeting friends and more. Some of our happiest memories have been made in these parks and we’re delighted that their fabulousness has been officially recognised once again.

Whether you’re planning a family day out, a peaceful walk, a picnic or simply somewhere to enjoy nature, these award-winning Norwich parks continue to be some of the finest green spaces in the country. How lucky we are!
