Veganuary – Norfolk is ready for you!

If you’re one of the thousands of people taking a pledge to go vegan this month (“Veganuary”) or already living a plant-based lifestyle, then there’s plenty to sate your appetite here in Norfolk.

Here are some of our personal recommendations. It’s by no means an exhaustive list, so do let us know who you’d add or if you have any great tips for vegan dining in Norwich or Norfolk.

Located in the Norwich Lanes, Tofurei is part delicatessen, part café, all vegan. They’re the UK’s only micro soya dairy and tofu producer. A must-visit for vegans, vegetarians and those looking for tasty gluten-free options. We love getting lunch from Tofurei.

River Green, Trowse, Norwich.

An award-winning vegan restaurant just outside Norwich city centre. We thought it had a great selection on its menu, with good portion sizes. We dined there late in 2021, and even the non-veggies/vegans in our party really enjoyed the food.
