Family-Friendly Halloween Fun in Norfolk

Halloween at BeWILDerwood
3rd-4th, 10th-11th, 17th-18th, 24th October – 1st November 11am to 6pm.
Dress in your best Halloween outfit and get ready to clamber, climb and zip your way through the wild woods during the day, then go Twig or Treating with the BeWILDerwood characters. Complete your Halloween adventure and follow the Glowing Light Trail as the sun begins to set.
The earlier you book the more you save.

Stranger Folk, Volume 1: Crone Calling at Blickling Estate
3rd October to 8th November.
A fun game of ancient folklore and real-world adventure for families to play together. Download the Stranger Folk app and begin an immersive adventure inspired by British folklore. The adventure starts with a voice note from a mysterious Old Crone. Will you answer the call and close the rift before mischief turns to mayhem!? As the spirit and human worlds collide, sneaky goblins, cunning boggarts and Stranger Folk are slipping through the crack to stir up trouble at Blickling. Gather your team, harness the elements and seal the rift before the creatures take hold.

Pumpkin House, Thursford
10th-11th, 17th-18th, 23th-31st October 10am to 4pm.
A fairytale house made entirely of pumpkins – perfect for autumn photos.
10th/11th October is Medieval Weekend. The Norfolk and Norwich Medieval Association will bring history to life with an immersive 14th century living history camp. Entry for this weekend is £2 per person, payable on the gate.
24th/25th October come and meet Barley Bob and Florrie two wonderful owls – you can hold them, meet their owners and learn all about owning a owl.
31st October Fancy Dress Competition. Join them at 2pm for the Halloween fancy dress competition with prizes to be won.

Wroxham Barns: Get Me Out of Here and Pumpkin Patch
10th-11th, 17th-18th, 23rd October – 1st November.
Explore their Pumpkin Patch and soak up the autumn atmosphere, plus embark on a wild jungle quest with Ranger Rita. Enter the Riddle Maze, do daring Bushtucker Trials, complete exciting challenges, meet cheeky animals, and discover fun at every turn.

Halloween Hoot at Hirsty’s Family Fun Park
17th-18th, 24th-31st October.
Pick your own pumpkin from their pumpkin patch and carve it in the tent. Plus, try to find your way around the maze, play in the park and have great fun this autumn half term.

Pensthorpe Pumpkin Festival
24th October – 1st November.
Their biggest autumn celebration yet, bringing together pumpkins, family activities, picture-perfect autumn moments and a new spooky twist on their much-loved maize maze.

A hauntingly beautiful Halloween Makers’ Market that is set to fill their historic hall with magical wares and mysterious charm. Wander through the Grand Hall and The Music Room to discover a spellbinding selection of local makers offering the weird, the wonderful, and the wickedly good.
